In this video i explain how to create a curved roof in dynamo.
Floor shaping in dynamo.
Finding the boundary lines of an element is something that i have been trying to do in dynamo for a little while now.
The dynamo definition requires a couple of csv nodes from landform and the ever useful floor slabeshapebypoints from clockwork.
There are several different tasks that you can automate in revit once you have the boundaries of an element.
This version 1 node takes the room elements converts to element geometry grabs the face at the host level gets the curves from the face uses konrad sobon s group curves node to assist with making the polycurves then matches the right polycurve with the outer boundary using a bounding box.
It will be parameterised by number sliders so you can play aruond with the shape.
On the first run it will collect the points from the sloped floor write the points to a text file and reset the slope to zero.
Dynamo for civil 3d videos.
Autodesk staff and other experts produce a wide range of video content for dynamo for civil 3d.
It is fairly simple to set up but it does require two runs to work.
This is a good script when you re starting a new project and need to do some setup before you begin modeling.
Some is product sales demo but a lot of the staff and other expert s recordings video lists and channels include useful application training and helpful tips and tricks for core autocad and autodesk infrastructure products.
Create floor levels from excel.
This script reads level names and elevations from an excel spreadsheet and uses this information to create floor levels.
